AgGateway's Path to Traceability Linked Data in the Ag Lifecycle

AgGateway industry consortium has created a new Traceability Work Group driven by past traceability work, beginning with in-field harvesting operations and ending with contracted deliveries to grain elevators.  The work group is now revisiting past work for seed operations and automatic identification (AutoID), and addressing various aspects of the agricultural information lifecycle.  This presentation and discussion addresses how emerging technologies (IoT, BigData, JSON-LD) and standards are being leveraged to help link information, forming a backbone for not only traceability but process efficiencies in farm operations, crop reporting, field insights, and the supply chain.
