Using Data to Fine Tune Crop Management

Intensive nutrient management has been an important part of our farm for the past several years.  We are now looking to fine tune our approaches with new technology to try to even better manage soil pH and possibly Nitrogen recommendations.  This presentation will show some our early findings and how we plan to change our approach to soil sampling and limestone applications.  Also included will be a short discussion of the Grain Traceability Proof of Concept completed on our farm last fall and how this technology could be the foundation to higher quality yield data we use in our fertility recommendations.
