Dan will share real world examples on how growers and advisors can use their agronomic data to make better decisions. And he’ll use results to demonstrate that most growers are leaving far more profit on the table than we previously realized.
Intensive nutrient management has been an important part of our farm for the past several years. We are now looking to fine tune our approaches with new technology to try to even better manage soil pH and possibly Nitrogen recommendations. This presentation will show some our early findings and how we plan to change our approach to soil sampling and limestone applications. Also included will be a short discussion of the Grain Traceability Proof of Concept completed on our farm last fall and how this technology could be the foundation to higher quality yield data we use in our fertility recommendations.
Ag-Analytics.Org is a free platform for farmers which is delivered through Cornell University. It allows producers to easily integrate precision and other data with soil, weather, and satellite imagery to make informed decisions. This session will show users how to integrate their data from other platforms and perform precision field budgeting analyses, field level insurance evaluations, and more.
