Dr. Stueve is an Assistant Professor of Geosciences at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He teaches GIS, remote sensing, spatial analysis, field GPS, and landscape ecology while contributing to the development of the GIS Certificate and Center for Geospatial Studies. Dr. Stueve joined Frost Inc in 2015 as a Senior GIS consultant, where he provides advanced GIS, remote sensing and mapping support to the Turfgrass and Agricultural industries. His long line of expertise in the GIS and academic arena include senior analyst and management positions in the private sector and research scientist positions in the public sector. He also has a growing publication record in top international journals such as Remote Sensing of Environment and others. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Minnesota State University Moorhead, MA in environmental studies and GIS at the University of Southern California, and his PhD in geography at Texas A&M University. He currently resides in Shafer, MN with his family. His technical expertise combined with his practical application knowledge are an asset in providing the best customer experience for the turf and ag industry.
